Remote Working is a trend but do we know why is that so?
Going to office will soon to be replaced by remote working. The most obvious reasons for why people want to work remotely is because it offers them a more flexible lifestyle & work life balance.
Remote Working is on the rise. While having the ability to work from out of a corporate office has been feasible for a few decades, working remotely is only now becoming mainstream.
Social Media is full of posts & articles on the topic of WFH. As WFH arrangement is normalising in the corporate world, both employees and employers are keen to learn & adopt ways to ensure same or higher level of productivity and focus as in a corporate office setup.
Now, let us throw some facts on you. A research by Flexjobs provides:
– Remote workers are 20% more productive
– On average, companies save $11,000 per remote employee per year
– Flexibility increases loyalty
– 85% of millennials want flexible work
– On an average 20 hours are wasted in a month oncommuting to the office place
– Remote work gives access to new markets and networking opportunities
In my opinion, there are 2 kinds of people in the world, one who loves to travel (solo or otherwise) and the other, who hasn’t tried solo travelling (and meeting new people) yet.
Food for thought!
Why not combine your love of travel with the flexibility to work remotely with a coliving cum coworking space at some exotic location.
The best part is there are multiple ventures who are already operating at such beautiful locations with a community of like-minded professionals to stay, work, learn, relax and grow your network with.
